Фильм Бакыта Кажыбекова посвящена городу Алматы, о истории города, как она стало столицей и какие преграды были на пути города. О тех людях которые любили сердцем нашу вторую столицу.

Актуальность данного фильма не вызывает сомнения, так как каждый кто живет в этом прекрасном городе, должен знать историю своего города. И ценить то что у нас есть, поскольку все эти достижение не пришли к нам просто так, в этом не простом пути было пролито кровь миллионов людей, которые действительно любили этот город.

Автором проведена серьезная работа по истории этого города. Он действительно смог донести зрителю такой поток важной информации. Исходя из информации от этого видео, лично я сам узнал много нового о своем городе. Когда город только начинал процветать на его пути были такие катастрофы как землетрясение в 1887 году в 28 мая. И это действительно было тяжелым ударом в отношении его основателей. А после этого еще и был сель в 1921 году 9 июля , его высота составила 6 метров а ширина 300 метров. После этих катастроф город потерял очень многое. Сам Павел Кашаров во время экспедиции восхищался красотой Алматы, и он написал картины о природе Алматы.
