1. Конференция учредила Комитет полного состава под председательством посла Чехословакии для целей постатейного обзора Конвенции, а также для
рассмотрения ее целей и преамбулы и вопроса о рассмотрении действия Конвенции в будущем.
2. Конференция также учредила Комитет по проверке полномочий под председательством посла Дениса Афанде (Кения) и Редакционный комитет под председательством посла Ричарда Батлера (Австралия).
3. В ходе общих прений по вопросу о действии преамбулы и статей Конвенции, проходивших с 9 по 15 сентября, с заявлениями выступили представители более 40 государств-участников.
4. По завершении общих прений Комитет полного состава в ходе восьми заседаний, состоявшихся 16-22 сентября, провел постатейный обзор Конвенции, после чего к работе приступил Редакционный комитет.

1. the Conference established a Committee of the whole, under the chairmanship of Ambassador to Czechoslovakia for the purposes of article-by-article review of the Convention, as well as forconsideration of its objectives and of the preamble and the question of the review of the Convention in the future. 2. The Conference established a Credentials Committee under the chairmanship of Ambassador Dennis Afande (Kenya) and a drafting Committee under the chairmanship of Ambassador Richard Butler (Australia).3. During the general debate on the action of the preamble and articles of the Convention, held from 9 to 15 September, statements were made by the representatives of more than 40 States parties.4. at the end of the general debate, the Committee of the whole in eight meetings, held in Geneva from 16-22 September, proceeded to a detailed review of the Convention, after which the work started by the drafting Committee.

1. The Conference established a Committee of the Whole, chaired by the Ambassador of Czechoslovakia to line-item review of the objectives of the Convention, as well as to
review its objectives and the preamble and the question of the review of the Convention in the future.
2. The Conference also established a Credentials Committee, chaired by Ambassador Denis Afandi (Kenya) and the Drafting Committee, chaired by Ambassador Richard Butler (Australia).
3. In the general debate on the action of the preamble and articles of the Convention, held from 9 to 15 September, statements were made by representatives of 40 States Parties.
4. At the conclusion of the general debate Committee of the Whole during the eight meetings held on September 16-22, held a line-item review of the Convention, and then began to work the Drafting Committee.
