В конференции примут участие представители 198 стран мира с пяти континентов. Общее число участников превысит 7 тысяч человек. Работа конференции будет продолжаться две недели. Регламент отличается особой жесткостью: на каждое выступление в одном з 6 пленарных заседаний отводится не более тридцати минут, а доклад в одной из 45 секций не должен превышать 20 минут. Дополнительно от 10 до 15 минут отводится на обсуждения докладов и дискуссию
