Я считаю верным это утверждение. Слово "дикарь" означает низкое развитие человека, или иными словами первобытное общество. В то время не существовало современных типов орудий труда. Поэтому, для того, что продвигать свое развитие, человеку пришлось проводить эксперименты. Иногда даже со смертельным исходом. Например, когда первобытный человек открыл огонь, то он не знал, как его использовать, он страдал от этого. Постепенно человек начал развиваться и смог использовать это по назначению.
