«Кончается жизнь, но не любовь» — эта символичная фраза первая приходит на ум после просмотра фильма «Великий Гэтсби». Главный герой всю жизнь следует за своей мечтой, которая с течением времени не гаснет, а наоборот преобразуется в еще большую великую любовь. Честно говоря, вряд ли найдутся такие слова, которые бы выразили мое состояние от начала фильма до последних кадров. Потрясающе? Безусловно. Последовательно? Конечно. Феерично? Поверьте, не то слово! Дань уважения Фицджеральду, восхищение его романом, трепетная и кропотливая работа База Лурмана, являющегося и режиссером, и сценаристом, и продюсером, и даже частично композитором фильма. От первого и до последнего кадра, звука — эмоции, вызывающие восхищение.
