The degree of relative equivalence of scientific texts depends on the types and kinds. It is noticed that the more formalized scientific text, which occurs primarily in the natural sciences, especially since it is equivalent to the original translation. Translations of some works on mathematics, chemistry or biology, consisting of stereotypical phrases that introduce the appropriate formula, are almost identical to the original. When translating scientific papers main thing - to convey the idea, the logic of thought, the essence of the scientific doctrine, the sequence of arguments. To do this, often have to be changed in the translations of the original phrases syntactic structure, reduce the emotional tone, if it is in the original.
Sometimes the level of equivalence in translation of special works decreased by descriptive interpretation of terms or even discrepancies in their understanding. The translation schools of Western universities introduced courses on terminology chosen specialization. But they do not save from mistakes especially in the Human Sciences. Humanitarians very willingly engaged terminotvor-honors, when it should be avoided. Often, depending on the scientific school, scientific direction, even from individual researchers the same object different terms mean. The translator has to resort to amplification, explaining the essence of the term, or to translate the term literally, or transcribe it. Thus, the level of relative equivalence of the scientific literature translation is subject to certain grammatical transformations, logic and terminology clarifications and explanations, which are dependent on the nature of scientific work and pragmatic translation requirements.
