Моя любимая книга это "Сатирикон" Петрония. На самом деле, это не совсем так, но именно это произведение вспоминается мне при этом вопросе. Даже то, что когда-то я писала по нему курсовую работу, не подорвало моей любви. Это античный авантюрный роман. Он начинается в Риме. Его герои - молодые люди, которые путешествуют по всему Риму. Они посещают званные ужины, воруют, обманывают честных и не очень честных граждан, ссорятся из-за любовников и развлекаются как могут. Это очень ироничный роман, высмеивающий все пороки разом. Его язык не похож на архаичное повествование, он свежий, смелый. Мне нравиться думать, что Петроний очень повеселился, когда он писал "Сатирикон".
