С 2016 года маленьких латвийцев будут лечить с помощью уникального робота (2)

Уже с февраля 2016 года латвийские дети с нарушениями функций опорно-двигательного аппарата и неврологическими заболеваниями смогут проходить курсы реабилитации и лечения не заграницей, как это было до сих пор — а прямо в Латвии. И впервые как минимум в Балтии процесс реабилитации будет проходить с помощью роботизированной установки Reha Technology G-EO System.

Нового робота на пожертвования латвийцев смог купить детский реабилитационный центр Poga, созданный благотворительной организацией Ziedot.lv. Швейцарский робот G-EO System — не единственный метод лечения, в центре намерены использовать и другие современные околотехнологичные методики, например, давно хорошо себя зарекомендовавшее и одобренное регулирующими органами США и ЕС решение TheraSuit.

Кстати, сбор средств на нужды нового центра на сайте Ziedot.lv пока не закончен (не хватает около трети суммы), так что помочь все еще может каждый!

G-EO System — роботизированная установка для проходящих реабилитацию, создана она в Швейцарии. Робот позволяет значительно ускорить процесс, уменьшить количество задействованных терапевтов (а значит, и стоимость процедур) и отслеживать успехи пациента с математической точностью. Разные программы позволяют проходить разные курсы реабилитации и имитировать разные движения — от просто отдельных движений ног и ступней до "ходьбы по лестнице". Машина не просто поддерживает человека, но и с ювелирной точностью дозирует усилия и помогает лишь тогда, когда это действительно нужно. G-EO System в действии можно увидеть в этом ролике.



Кстати, в качестве патронессы центра выступает первая леди страны — супруга президента Ивета Вейоне. Предполагается, что маленьких пациентов в центре начнут лечить уже с февраля, а всего за год только услугами робота G-EO System воспользуется как минимум 140 детей. До создания центра и покупки робота реабилитацию такого уровня они могли пройти только за границей. Или не проходили ее вовсе.
