Законопослушность граждан и их правовая культура показывают, насколько законы соответствуют правовым представлениям граждан и отвечают потребностям общества. Закон является выражением и свидетельством достижений культуры и цивилизации. Граждане должны быть готовы не только следовать законам, но и их защищать. Для этого они должны обладать правовым сознанием – знанием основным прав и свобод, умением ими пользоваться и их защищать.
