Изложение основного материала. На сегодня, «бизнес-процесс» является объектом управления в системе хозяйственной деятельности предприятий, в том числе и розничной торговли, неотъемлемым составным элементом рыночной экономики во всех ее сферах.
Учитывая широкое использование понятия «бизнес-процесс» как в организации экономических отношений, так и в научной литературе, не существует существенных разногласий относительно дефиниции «бизнес-процесса».
Как видим, подходы к определению сущности бизнес-процессов, достаточно тесно коррелируют между собой. Управление бизнес-процессами предприятий розничной торговли требует как надлежащего ресурсного обеспечения, так и четкого алгоритма действий, который предусматривает как можно больше вероятных ситуаций, которые могут возникнуть в ходе осуществления хозяйственной деятельности. Соблюдение такого подхода позволит, с одной стороны, оперативно корректировать бизнес-процессы предприятий розничной торговли в пространстве и времени, а с другой — минимизировать возможные риски в процессе осуществления торговых операций. Важным направлением на этом пути является моделирование бизнес-процессов предприятия розничной торговли.
Под моделированием следует понимать такой метод исследования явлений и процессов, основанный на замене конкретного объекта исследования (оригинала) другим, подобным ему (моделью). Моделирование реальных бизнес-процессов предприятий розничной торговли дает возможность исследовать их важнейшие характеристики, выявлять и устранять недостатки, определять взаимосвязи между целями, функциями, ресурсами, результатами и, что не менее важно, проектировать целостную систему управления деятельностью предприятия, в зависимости от обстоятельств, сложившихся на конкретный период времени.
